Junior Jazz Camp 7/12-7/16

Jazz dance is one of the most popular dance styles in America. We have a special week planned with instructor Kelsey Ruth who will teach the basics of jazz dance as well as choreography to perform at the end of the week. Students will be introduced to Lyrical/Contemporary Jazz, Musical Theatre Jazz, and Hip Hop.
Attire/Shoes: Dancewear or workout gear/Jazz shoes if you have them
So You Think You Can Dance?

This popular reality TV show will inspire our week of dance with instructor Kelsey Ruth. During this exciting week of choreography and performance, students will be taken through a mock audition and hear feedback from a panel of judges. Students will be cast in various contemporary dance pieces to rehearse during the week. Participants will also be introduced to the art of making their own choreography with guidance from Ms. Kelsey. Dancers will showcase their accomplishments in a culminating performance at the end of the week.
Attire/Shoes: Dancewear or workout gear/ Jazz shoes or ballet slippers.
How to Make a Ballet…The Sleeping Beauty

Join instructors Lynn Tobey and Katie Higuchi for a fairy tale week of creating and performing in your own ballet production! Dancers will start each day with a ballet class to practice steps that will become choreography in Sleeping Beauty. Dancers will be given roles in the ballet and will rehearse their dances in preparation for our performance on Friday. Sets and costumes will be made, make-up and hair will be set, programs and posters will be designed all by you!
Attire/Shoes: Leotards and tights/Ballet slippers if you have them.
Angelina Ballerina8/9-8/13

Calling all mouselings! Join Angelina, Miss Lilly, and their friends for a week of summer fun. We will enjoy dancing, crafts, games and stories about everyone’s favorite little mouse. Mouse around with your friends and see why Angelina loves being a ballerina!

Musical Theatre Intensive 8/9-8/13

Join Broadway veteran Stacee Raber Nault for an intense week of technique class and choreography. Learning scenes, songs and dances from some of Broadway's classic shows, students will hone their skills as a triple threat (singing, dancing and acting). Performers will showcase their work at the end of the week.

Join us as we escape to a magical fairy land! Fairies will dance through each afternoon and enjoy related crafts, stories and games. Don’t forget your wand and your fairy dust!

Dance Sampler: Ballet to Broadway8/16-8/20
2:00-4:00 (Ages 7 & up)

Not sure which dance style is right for you? Come try our Dance Sampler with instructor Katie Higuchi and she’ll help you find your strength. Styles that will be sampled are: ballet, jazz, musical theatre, hip hop, and discussions/demos for tap. This class is perfect to help place new students in the appropriate level and class for fall.

Summer Ballet Intensive8/16-8/20
4:00-7:00 (Ages 10 & up)
Price: $225
Join Instructor Carol Husmann for our annual summer ballet intensive. Open to advanced students who have been invited to participate in this exciting week or students who audition. In addition to ballet technique and daily pointe/pre-pointe class, students will be learning Jazz, Modern, Mime/Ballet Acting, Character Dance, and choreography from our annual holiday ballet “La Boutique Fantasque”.
Attire/Shoes: Leotard and tights/ballet slippers, pointe shoes, character heels and jazz shoes if you have them.
